Description

This is a targeting position that requires familiarity with the exploitation of media sources to include social media. The selected candidate(s) will support a variety of operational and targeting efforts for a nonprofit organization providing human trafficking intelligence products to law enforcement. The position is part of a team that supports operations against human trafficking. The individual will be responsible for identifying targeting leads to enable a variety of intelligence operations through the exploitation of various open-source media and using link analysis to develop organization network maps.
 

The candidate will be expected to propose creative ideas, to participate in brainstorming sessions, and to offer operational recommendations. The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Candidate must have excellent judgment with a strong sense of accountability for themselves, and their actions. Candidate must be able to respond quickly to high priority data requests with minimal supervision. Candidate must be able to work effectively with law enforcement. The successful candidate may have to travel to corporate headquarters in Dallas, TX. Additional travel generally lasting 5-7 days may be required to support operations.
 

These positions are located in Kalispell, Montana; Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Houston, Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts intelligence research and analysis
  • Prepares intelligence reports in support of a counter human trafficking intelligence nonprofit organization and law enforcement.
  • Uses imagery analysis, time/event analysis, geospatial analysis, OSINT analysis and all source analytic techniques to develop products
  • Communicates with law enforcement agents and works with other targeting analysts to produce unified intelligence products
  • Develops social network/link charts, analyzes patterns of life, engages with law enforcement, prepares human trafficking intelligence products
  • Supports quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes
  • Identifies opportunities to disrupt or dismantle illicit organizations and the individuals who control them
  • Provides analytic support to law enforcement during counter human trafficking operations
  • Utilizes data sets, network analysis techniques and specialized tools to identify and analyze human trafficking networks
  • Reviews, evaluates, and integrates data from multiple sources
  • Develops analytical reports, briefs, and studies to focus law enforcement investigations into human trafficking in specific geographic areas

Requirements

  • Live in Kalispell, MT, Albuquerque, NM, or Houston, TX areas
  • US Citizenship
  • Pass a background check, including a criminal background check
  • Minimum of 3 years intelligence analysis or targeting experience
  • SIGINT, HUMINT and/or All-source analysis experience
  • Familiarity with social media and technology
  • Familiarity with operational intelligence processes
  • Ability to communicate complex linkages of networks to law enforcement
  • Ability to collaborate work with a wide variety of personalities 
  • Superior communication skills including clear, concise writing ability
  • Ability to provide and receive direct feedback 
  • Ability to conduct research
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to learn new skills and technology quickly and assimilate those into the workflow
  • A methodical, logical thought process
  • Ability to work at off hours in support of law enforcement operations
  • Ability to periodically travel to Dallas and North Texas

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with NSA, broader IC, JSOC or USSOCOM highly desired
  • Intelligence analysis targeting background
  • Direct support experience in the military or intelligence community
  • Familiarity with special operations and intelligence targeting methodologies
  • Social media analysis and Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) experience
