Are you an owner/operator looking to get more value out of your aircraft? Do you need to fly your employees or family members to distant destinations but don't have the time to do it yourself? Let us solve this problem for you by providing the same professional piloting you would and increase the utility of your fastest, most convenient means of transport.

Are you interested in using your aircraft to support a charitable cause but lack the time to fly it yourself? We are ready to help and can even connect you with a number of excellent charities worthy of your support.

Aircraft Ferry / Delivery Service

If you are in the process of buying or selling an airplane, whether new or used, High Country Air Service is ready to ferry it to its new home for you. Don't let the delivery logistics derail all the time, effort, and expense you have already invested in the aircraft sales process. Let us move this valuable asset with the care and attention to detail that it deserves.

Additionally, if you are an aircraft owner who is re-locating but don't have the time to move your airplane in addition to your household goods, let us handle this movement for you.

We are also available to assist nationwide with the evacuation of aircraft due to natural disasters such as forest fires or hurricanes.

We can complete this process for you, in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and return your airplane to you with an engine with properly seated piston rings, ready to operate on regular oil.

Flight Test Services

Return-to-service (RTS) Flights

Did your maintenance shop just complete a complex annual or major repair of your airplane? Are you concerned about ensuring that all of the repairs were done correctly but unsure how to confirm that they were? Let us conduct a thorough and complete return-to-service flight. Our RTS service includes consulting with your mechanic, researching the repair, inspecting the logbooks, inspecting the aircraft before and after the flight, debriefing you, and, most importantly, debriefing your maintenance provider, should additional repairs or adjustments be needed.

Post-modification Test Flights

Did you modify your aircraft with a new COM/NAV/GPS, PFD, MFD, ADI, engine monitor, or autopilot and need to confirm that its working properly? Let us eliminate the guesswork for you and evaluate your new installation before you fly that first instrument approach to mins. We are proficient with avionics from Rockwell, Garmin, Aspen, BendixKing, J.P. Instruments, and Honeywell and have experience with avionics from other manufacturers as well.

Avionics Flight Testing

If your avionics company is in need of a test pilot, give us a call. Our pilots are experts at test hazard analysis, risk mitigation, and pilot workload/user experience (UX) evaluations. We are particularly adept with primary flight displays (PFDs), multi-function displays (MFDs), touch technology, autopilots, and attitude indicators. We're happy to consult with you on your project and are available for ground or in-flight support.

Consulting Services

Aircraft/Fleet Management

As an investment, an airplane often rivals a house in its financial significance. Similarly, there are a number of "housekeeping" chores accompanying aircraft ownership which can become burdensome over time--squawk tracking, engine oil sampling & analysis, expense tracking, scheduling, registration/subscription renewals, and database updates, just to name a few. Contact High Country Air Service and we will create a detailed management proposal showing how we can take the hassle out of aircraft ownership for you. Having led flying organizations from seven airplanes to eighty, we have the experience to supervise and manage yours.

Technical Consulting

We're available to provide filmmakers with technical assistance on aviation-related issues. If your film involves airplanes and you need help, give us a call. Our pilots are available for script consulting, service coordination, and on-site support. Similarly, we welcome calls from national defense professionals in government or industry who require aviation consulting support. Our experience in aviation is broad, but we are particularly proficient with special operations aviation, large force employment, and integration of conventional and special operations forces. Many of our pilots still carry their security clearances from their time in the military.
