high country air service's skillbridge internship for pilots

Our pilot internship enables transitioning military aviators to smoothly enter civilian aviation careers. We provide interns the opportunity to convert their existing military aviation ratings to their civilian equivalents while also exposing participants to various aspects of general aviation including private and corporate flying. Interns complete academic training on the similarities and differences between military and civilian flying with an emphasis on Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations, commonly referred to as the Federal Aviation Regulations. Interns also have the opportunity to fly with mentor pilots in aircraft operated by the company. Exceptionally-qualified participants may also have the opportunity to earn additional civilian ratings during their internship, subject to time and resource availability.
